About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the Investor Relations professional will act as a bridge between the investment team and the firm’s investor base. The role requires a proactive communicator with strong financial acumen, the ability to manage investor inquiries, and the skills to drive fundraising efforts across global markets. The position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective institutional investors
  • Build and maintain long-term investor relationships by providing timely updates and tailored communication
  • Lead investor due diligence processes and respond to requests for information
  • Prepare and deliver marketing materials, investor presentations, and fund reporting
  • Oversee regular investor updates, newsletters, and reporting across various formats
  • Coordinate investor events, including annual meetings, webinars, and roadshows
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine investor relations strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or client services within asset management, hedge funds, or broader financial services
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies (e.g. long/short equity, credit, global macro) and fund structures
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for a range of audiences
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to managing investor needs
  • Experience using CRM systems and performance analytics tools
  • Native-level Japanese and fluent English required
  • CFA, CAIA, or other professional certifications a plus

This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to a sophisticated global investor base.
